Roof of Africa
We’re beyond excited to announce the latest rendition of the Roof of Africa website, and let’s just say, this isn’t your average refresh—this is a full-blown digital makeover! The old website was good, but with Roof of Africa growing by leaps and bounds, it just wasn’t cutting it anymore. So, we stepped in, handled the entire photography, and made sure their new site is as impressive as the hotel itself.
Let’s be real—did you know Roof of Africa has a craft brewery on tap? Yeah, most people didn’t. But now, beer lovers can rejoice because some of the best brews in Namibia are waiting for you. And it doesn’t stop there—they’ve got a pool and a sauna where guests can relax in style. Oh, and did we mention they recently opened another restaurant at the FNCC? Because they did, and the old website couldn’t even begin to showcase all this awesomeness.
Now, with our fresh new design (and stunning photos we shot), everything is laid out clearly and simply in the main navigation. Trust us, everyone who’s seen the new site had the same reaction: “I didn’t know they had/did that!”—which, to me, is the ultimate win. It means we’ve succeeded in making sure all of Roof of Africa’s hidden gems are front and center.
And while the new site is a triumph, there’s still one more thing we’re working on for Roof of Africa that I’m super excited about... but more on that very soon! Stay tuned!

Barkhan Dune Retreat 2023
Up until now, our responsibility at Barkhan Dune Retreat has encompassed capturing all the photography. However, we often felt a vital component was absent from our shots - the presence of people. Consequently, we were graciously invited to Barkhan Dune Retreat not only to photograph the rooms, facilities, and activities, but also to showcase the inclusion of individuals within these captivating frames. Furthermore, our task entailed capturing images of the recently unveiled KuanguKuangu, an opulent self-catering unit majestically perched atop a mountain peak.
Enjoy the photos!

Ugab Game Farm and Lodge
Ugab Game Farm and Lodge is a newly established high end lodge with luxury accommodation in Damaraland. Their top end rooms are equipped with a personal coffee station, a fridge with ice cold water, and a massive outside shower and bathtub. The linen of the king sized double beds are made of Egyptian cotton and the rooms have a magnificent view on to the waterhole where a vast variety of animals roam and feed.
They offer lengthy Nature / Game Drives in the shadows of majestic trees growing in the Ugab river. It is near guaranteed that you will see wild animals in the Ugab river, since they prefer the lower temperatures therein. You will most likely see herds of Eland, Gemsbock and many other species unique to the farm.
Here are some photos we took at Ugab Game Farm and Lodge.

Barkhan Dune Retreat 2022
And another successful visit to Barkhan Dune Retreat. This time we planned a quick sunset photo shoot at the Spreetshoogte pass. The sunset was spectacular with all the little clouds filling the sky and giving the photos an additional flare! After all the good rains this year the grass was standing at hip height and has that classic golden shimmer as the sun sets.

Medical Imaging
Medical Imaging requested us to take photos for every service category on their website. This was a super fun shoot, since the staff at Roman Catholic Hospital and Mediclinic are extremely friendly and photogenic. Lighting and space in the hospital is a real challenge, which is why some of the images look distorted and or the white balance is off.
Taking photos of the MRI machine was a nightmare considering if I get too close it will suck my camera into the magnetic field and damage the multi million dollar machine, or it will simply corrupt all my photos on the SD card. That was quite worrying to say the least.
We are also doing the website which is still in the works, but these photos will replace the stock photography they are currently using on their website.

NamPower Virtual Tour
NamPower Anixas II Power Station Walvis Bay
The Coronavirus pandemic brough a lot of challenges for businesses as movement was restricted, travel was banned - thus companies could not operate businesses as usual anymore. Which is why we were contracted to create a virtual tour for NamPower which allows prospective bidders to walk around the NamPower site on which the future Anixas II power station is planned and interactively find out more about the site and Project requirements. This site is also home to the existing Anixas power station and the now decommissioned Paratus power stations.
This responsive 66 scene virtual tour walk through takes the user through all the most important areas, which are usually quite difficult to reach and or take time and planning to visit, from the comfort of their home or office. With about 30 hot-spots ranging from simple text, images, and photoshopped infographics that pop up when interacting with them, the virtual tour isn't just visually interactive, but also informative. On top of that we added custom graphics over certain areas which aided in the illustration of i.e. structures to be demolished, the passing of certain lines ... etc.
Due to the sensitivity of information we will not be able to demo or show much more than what you see here now.

Real Estate Virtual Tour
A few months back I met a Real Estate Agent, and I ran her through a couple of ideas on how one could advertise high end properties more effectively, or uniquely, especially now in these tough times of pandemics and economic crises. I offered her to do an informative fly through / virtual tour of one of her properties. After a short time she asked me to join her to a farm in the south which they have been trying to sell for a while. I spent 2 days there to capture the footage - virtual tours, photography and a video. After a month the farm was sold! Enjoy the footage!

Barkhan Dune Retreat 2020
Barkhan Dune Retreat outdid themselves again! When I was told that they had created 5 new chalets I had no idea how beautiful and genius they would be! Along with the chalets, they created an entire limescale filtering system, gray water recycling as well as solar power that supports multiple air conditioners! Brakhan Dune Retreat, in my opinion, is one of the iconic lodges in Namibia!

Namibia Breweries Limited
We have designed and developed an interactive educational tour of the brewing process of Namibian Breweries Limited. The project includes virtual tours that allow you to walk around on the premises and click on certain machines and equipment to read more about its function in the brewing process or watch a video that takes you inside the machines. In this project we took the idea of a virtual tour and turned it into an information hub. Too bad we cannot make it public, for you to see, it was meant for internal use only.
